As a research assistant for SAMHSA’s CAPT, Randi supports the development of website content (captus.samhsa.gov), e-learning course materials, issue briefs, and communication and marketing materials. She is also responsible for preparing the CAPT monthly reports, and serves as the co-leader of the Professional Development Workgroup, a subgroup of the CAPT. Through her work on the CAPT’s Prevention and Wellness Project, Randi helped to develop the 2010 CAPT concept paper Strengthening Prevention through Collaboration, which explores new opportunities for collaboration between sectors as a prevention strategy.
In addition to her work on the CAPT, Randi performed as a project assistant on the Dental Therapist Project, which provided support for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s initiatives to increase access to oral health care for underserved families. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
