U.S. – Mexico Border Communities Alliance

As of May 10, 2006, the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention discontinued funding for this project. CSAP’s Western CAPT had received supplemental funds on May 11, 2004 from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) to expand services 60 miles north and south of the United States – Mexico border.

CSAP’s Western CAPT, U.S. – Mexico Border Communities Alliance provided training and technical assistance in the implementation of evidence-based substance abuse prevention.

The Border Alliance Resources are still available for archival purposes.
