The mission of the Kansas Communities That Care State Incentive Grant was to "promote a comprehensive statewide, risk-focused strategy that increases the capacity of Kansas communities to achieve targeted outcomes, reduce risk, and increase protection for interrelated adolescent problems," and then to sustain and expand the strategy at the conclusion of the SIG initiative.
