Program Management

An overview of the art of successfully managing a social service program; topics such as strategies for developing an annual program work plan, staff supervision and development, time management, developing a budget, meeting the needs of funders and how not to lose your mind while doing all of this can be addressed.

Target Audience:
Substance Abuse Prevention administrative and/or management staff.
 
Training Objectives:
Participants will increase their knowledge about how to successfully manage social service programs. Specific objectives are developed based on the requesting organization’s needs.
 
Format:
Lecture/Presentation with discussion and/or group work.
Technical Assistance via telephone, email or face-to-face contact is available.
 
Number of Participants:
30
 
Time Frame:
Generally half-day to full-day
