Training Overview

Principles of Effectiveness: Planning for Results with Safe and
Drug-Free Schools and Communities Programs

Target Audience:
School administrators/superintendents, local safe and drug-free coordinators, or any others interested in learning how to interpret and/or comply with the Principles of Effectiveness, the framework for programs or activities developed in Title IV of No Child Left Behind.
 
Training Objectives:
  1. Provide an overview of the Principles of Effectiveness as outlined in Title IV of No Child Left Behind.
  2. Describe methods/resources needed to comply with the Principles of Effectiveness.
Format:
Lecture, PowerPoint, open discussion, groups (depending on length of time and number of participants
 
Number of Participants:
Event can be adapted to accommodate both large and small groups
 
Time Frame:
2 hours to 2 days, depending on the audience and level of prevention knowledge of participants
