Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities:
Understanding Title IV of “No Child Left Behind”

Target Audience:
Local/state coordinators/implementers of Title IV programs and/or others who want to learn the purpose and requirements of Title IV.
 
Training Objectives:
  1. To provide information and a clear understanding of the Title IV section of “No
    Child Left Behind.”
  2. To provide an understanding of required/authorized activities with Title IV funds.
  3. To provide an overview of the Principles of Effectiveness.
Format:
Lecture, open discussion, groups
 
Number of Participants:
Event can be adapted to accommodate both large and small groups
 
Time Frame:
2-3 hours
