Community Mobilization

Before you can mobilize the community, you and members of your coalition must first have the requisite knowledge and skill set or know how to connect with individuals who already possess this all-important knowledge base.

Target Audience:
Community Practitioners
 
Training Objectives:
Participants will increase their knowledge base in order to:
  1. Appreciate the Core Six Strategy Framework
  2. Understand what is and is not community mobilization
  3. Realize the value of a needs and resource assessment as foundation to make mobilization determinations
  4. Define community
  5. Develop an action plan that determines the targets for change and therefore the initial targets for mobilization
Format:
Facilitation and small group work
