Coalition Building for Community Change

Target Audience:
State prevention practitioners, frontline prevention staff and coalition leadership.
 
Training Objectives:
Participants will learn:
  1. History and importance of coalitions as a vehicle for community change.
  2. How to build a strong case for the forming of a coalition.
  3. Various methods of coalition building for different circumstances.
  4. Effective planning and strategic development.
  5. Measuring successes and effective documentation.
Format:
Lecture/presentation with discussion and/or group work
Technical assistance is available via telephone, email or face-to-face.
