Jackie Ellis — Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Jackie Ellis serves CSAP's Southeast CAPT as an Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Assistant in the Louisville, KY office. She was one the first members at PIRE-Louisville Center, formerly Community Systems Research Institute (CSRI), located at Spalding University in Louisville. She joined CSRI in 1997 and served as the receptionist. Originally from El Salvador and raised in California, Ms. Ellis is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. One of her first translating roles was as an interpreter for CSRI’s Therapeutic Community Project in Peru . When CSRI merged with PIRE, she was promoted to an Administrative Assistant position and now takes responsibility for all clerical duties at the Institute as well as being Assistant to the Senior Research Scientist. Additionally, she uses her translating skills to arrange for PIRE scientists’ travel abroad, for conferences, and to assist with certain international studies. |
