Deborah Zischke — Supplemental Programs Manager

Debbie Zischke manages the supplemental contracts awarded to the SECAPT by the US Department of Education and the US Department of Justice. Her responsibilities include providing prevention technical assistance to ten school districts that received one of the Grants to Reduce Alcohol Abuse (GRAA), and to the approximately 80 Weed & Seed sites in the southeast region. Debbie has worked for the Mississippi Department of Education, first as a coordinator for the National Origin Desegregation Grant and the Bi-lingual Education Grant, and then as a coordinator of several of the statewide assessment programs. She served the former Southeast CAPT as manager of the GRAA supplement, and she is a Certified Prevention Specialist. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Belhaven College in Jackson, MS, and Mississippi Teacher Certification.
