Nicole Schoenborn serves as the Service to Science Lead for the Southwest. Nicole also provides T/TA to states in the Southwest region. Nicole has a passion for applied research, program evaluation, experimental design, and working with high risk population programs. Prior to working with the Southwest Prevention Center, she worked for seven years at the Oklahoma State Department of Health conducting quality management and program evaluation activities for HIV treatment programs including non-profit agencies and clinics, as well as overseeing the T/TA for HIV case managers and social workers. Nicole also worked for the Oklahoma State Department of Health for five years as a program manager providing consultation and program evaluation services for community HIV prevention interventions and prison peer training programs in Oklahoma.
She has a master's degree in experimental psychology and has experience working with research methods and design, and has experience teaching psychological statistics. She also has a B.A. in psychology. She received both degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma.
