Nahia provides a range of administrative support to the Northeast Regional Team. Some of her responsibilities include coordinating meetings, formatting and editing documents, creating and maintaining web portals and SharePoint sites, disseminating meeting agendas and minutes, and researching and synthesizing information used to inform TA providers. Prior to joining SAMHSA's CAPT, Nahia worked as a Member Services Coordinator for the American Meteorological Society (AMS), a nonprofit organization that promotes the development and dissemination of information in the atmospheric and related sciences. She provided facilitation to weather professionals seeking AMS certification. Nahia also worked five years in the Learning and Teaching Division of EDC.
