Christine Farnsworth Atherton

Christine acts as the primary business contact for SAMHSA's CAPT, on behalf of Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC). She is responsible for communicating the contractual requirements to the CAPT team and monitors compliance with contract requirements. She helps administer subcontract and consultant agreements to ensure compliance with federal requirements.

Christine has been at EDC for more than 10 years. She currently manages a diverse portfolio of grants and contracts, including federal, state, foundation, and corporate funding. Before working in the contracts office, she worked as the financial manager for one of EDC’s centers. Christine has a bachelor’s in communication arts from Framingham State College.
