As Associate Epidemiologist for the Northeast Resource Team, Angela collaborates on data-related training and technical assistance activities for the 11 states that comprise the Northeast Service Area. She is also a member of the Epidemiological Functional Group, which facilitates resource development and product consistency through collaboration among epidemiologists across all service areas of the CAPT. Angela brings more than two decades of experience designing and conducting research and evaluation studies in the areas of adult and juvenile justice, minority health, child welfare, and child and family well-being. She has expertise in study design, instrument development, quantitative and qualitative data methodology, and data analysis.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in the administration of criminal justice and a Master of Arts degree in sociology from Howard University where she also completed doctoral coursework in demography and urban sociology.
