This resource corresponds to Day 1.

Healthy Girls, Healthy Women has given me a chance to explore many different activities. By creating a media campaign that promotes osteoporosis prevention, I learned how the advertising market works. This fall, the program gave me an opportunity to take what I learned and share it with younger children. Once a week, I co-facilitated a group with 8 kids and taught them about how to make healthier choices. It has been a wonderful experience. I got to participate in seeing the kids learn and have fun. In just a short amount of time I've grown and learned so much from Healthy Girls, Healthy Women.
