• What is your name?
• What agency or organization do you work for or with, and what is your role there?
• What do you hope to get out of this training?
• Please describe your most memorable experience—either positive or negative—sharing or receiving data. What made it stand out in your mind?

Next, please use the Day 1 course materials to help you answer these questions:

• Think about a recent data presentation that you either made or heard.

  - What was the nature of the data that was presented (e.g.,
  qualitative vs. quantitative, comparative, trend)?

  - How did the nature of the data influence how it was
  presented?

After you have answered the questions, please review and respond to the comments made by your fellow participants. Do you agree with their responses? Disagree? Need clarification? Post your feedback to the Message Board. Then come back and visit regularly—others may have posed questions to you!
