Measuring OutcomesTarget Audience: State-level and community-level prevention practitioners with an interest in learning to identify and develop measurable outcomes against which to determine their progress. This workshop is appropriate for beginner and intermediate participants without any prior knowledge of this area. Training Objectives: Participants will be able to: • Increase
understanding of outcomes
• Learn what outcomes are, are not, and what they are often confused • Identify key issues in measuring outcomes Format of Training: This training explores the following topics: defining outcomes, writing measurable outcomes, and making decisions about outcomes. CSAP's Northeast CAPT trainers will use the following techniques throughout this workshop: • Presentation
of background material
• Large group discussion designed to draw lessons and experiences Timeframe: Approximately 2 hours Number of Participants: Minimum of 10 up to a maximum of 50 participants These trainings are available from CSAPs Northeast CAPT.
