Locating, Hiring, and Managing an EvaluatorTarget Audience: State-level and community-level prevention practitioners with a basic understanding of the role of evaluation in programming. This workshop is appropriate for those preventionists interested in becoming more familiar with evaluation techniques; however, this workshop will not teach participants how to conduct a full evaluation on their own. Training Objectives: Participants will be able to: • Increase
understanding of the value of evaluating programs Format of Training: This training explores the following topics: how to find an evaluator, what to ask about and assess when hiring an evaluator, making the evaluation work. CSAP's Northeast CAPT trainers will use the following techniques throughout this workshop:
Timeframe: Approximately 3 hours Number of Participants: Minimum of 10 up to a maximum of 50 participants These trainings are available from CSAPs Northeast CAPT.
