Welcome! We are very glad you have joined our group of online learners. This activity has two parts. Please read through both sets of questions and post your responses on the Message Board.

First, it would be helpful to get to know a little bit about one another. Please write a few sentences that answer these questions:

• What is your name?
• What agency or organization do you work for?
• What is your role there?

Next, think about one or more evidence-based prevention programs that you may have considered implementing in your community (or may consider implementing in the future):

• What factors did you (or might you) consider when deciding which program to select? What types of questions did you (or might you) ask? Try to think outside the box. Questions about cost and space are easy ones—but are there others?

After you have answered the questions, please review and respond to comments posted by your fellow participants. Do their “factors” make you think of ones you missed? Let them know! Post your feedback on the Message Board. Then come back and visit regularly—others may have posted questions for you!
