Sarah Dakin

Sarah Dakin, Ph.D. is a Research Scientist 2 with the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). Dr. Dakin received her B.A. in psychology from Ithaca College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Dakin works in the Bureau of Prevention and Cross Systems Services on the College program and Community Mobilization efforts. In conjunction with the College program Dr. Dakin has administered and managed numerous grants that have included contracted evaluators. Previously Dr. Dakin was an assistant professor of psychology, teaching social psychology, research methods, and statistics. She has worked for OASAS since 2002.
