Michele Cummins![]() Michele Cummins is the research coordinator for Social Science Research and Evaluation, Inc. (SSRE) of Burlington, Massachusetts. She and senior evaluator Dr. Wayne Harding serve as evaluators for CSAP's Northeast CAPT. Evaluation activities include conducting process and outcome evaluations of all CAPT activities, measuring changes in state prevention approaches as a result of CAPT service delivery, designing and refining the CAPT evaluation plan, and developing and implementing a computerized management information system in collaboration with other regional CAPT evaluators. Ms. Cummins is a graduate of Colgate University, where she received
her B.A. in sociology and anthropology with a minor in education. In
her role as research coordinator for SSRE, Ms. Cummins is responsible
for coordinating research and evaluation efforts in diverse areas such
as alcohol and other drug abuse prevention (working with community partnerships
designed to prevent alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse), education
developing, (implementing, and analyzing student health and risk behavior
surveys), criminal justice (assessing the impact of police responses
to domestic violence), and traffic safety (developing and evaluating
a community-wide alternative transportation program to reduce drinking
and driving). |
