Peter Kreiner

Peter Kreiner is the director
of prevention research at Health and Addictions Research in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Kreiner has extensive experience researching and presenting on substance
abuse prevention and treatment needs and evaluating prevention programs.
He has been the project director for Massachusetts' state prevention and
treatment needs assessment projects, the lead evaluator for Massachusetts'
CSAP-funded State Incentive Grant, and has provided consultation to the
Massachusetts Department of Public Health in planning statewide youth prevention
services and to the youth programs themselves in measuring outcomes of
their work. He is currently principal investigator of research seeking
to develop new measures of community capacity based on patterns of nonprofit
interorganizational networks, and he is evaluating change in networks of
service providers as they move toward greater integration of substance
abuse, mental health, and trauma/violence services. Dr. Kreiner received
his Ph.D. in organization theory from the University of Southern California,
Los Angeles, California, in 1990. He received his B.A. in philosophy from
Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey, in 1970. |
