Josephine Romano
Ms. Romano is President of Green Mountain Life Coaching and Josephine Romano Associates, a consulting and training firm based in Montpelier, Vermont. Ms. Romano is a Certified Professional Coach, Certified Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist, Certified Facilitator of Adult Dialogue Education, and an Associate of Global Learning Partners Inc. of Toronto, Ontario. Ms. Romano has designed and trained extensively on Substance Abuse Prevention, Coaching Essentials for professionals, meeting and retreats, strategic planning, organizational change and development, change and human resource development. She has a passion for working with motivated learners in communities, businesses, non-profits, state agencies and schools. She is founder of the Community of Prevention Professionals and Coalitions.

Ms. Romano has devoted 35 years of full-time working experience in managing programs, people and systems in the judicial and human services fields. She served 20 years as a Vermont County and Superior Court Clerk responsible for case flow management, human resources development and overall court and county administration and for the past 15 years as a Vermont Department of Health Substance Abuse Prevention Consultant mentoring community coalitions. Ms. Romano is a national consultant and trainer in substance abuse prevention. She is a member of the International Coach Federation. She also serves on The Vermont Governor’s Council on Domestic Violence, The Advisory Board for Prevention and Community Development at Woodbury College in Vermont, and The Vermont Refugee Assistance Program.
