This webinar, brought to you from The Arc’s Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Prevention Project and The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), is part of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Webinar Series and will provide primary care clinicians with the tools they need to work with families and children who have or may have a FASD. Dr David Wargowski will identify the appropriate professionals needed to build a FASD team and discuss options for community-based resources for referral and treatment. Billing, coding, and reimbursement will also be discussed.

At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the types of professionals needed to create a team dedicated to FASDs
  • Describe care coordination/co-management as it relates to managing children with FASDs
  • Utilize appropriate reimbursement codes for services provided to patients with prenatal alcohol exposure or FASDs
