Coordinator
As the Coordinator for SAMHSA's CAPT’s Southwest Resource Team, Marie is responsible for coordinating the delivery of training and technical assistance (T/TA) that accurately reflects the science of prevention and meets the evolving needs of CSAP grantees. Her job is to make sure that the Southwest Resource Team is able to effectively assess the needs of States and Tribes within the Southwest Service Areas and that the Team provides quality services that are timely, relevant, and effective.
Marie brings to SAMHSA's CAPT extensive experience in project coordination, face-to-face and online training facilitation, and curriculum development. She has facilitated the work of numerous groups to enhance individual and organizational skills related to issues of diversity and inclusion. She holds a MA in Sociology from the University of Texas and a certificate in Distance Education from Indiana University.
