Project Associate
As a Project Associate for SAMHSA's CAPT, Libby provides leadership, management, and support on a wide range of activities. Specifically, she coordinates national events, plays a key role in organizingthe work of the CAPT quality training and technical assistance workgroup, and supports the epidemiological functional team. She also collaborates with other CAPT staff to develop presentations and webinars and coordinates activities for the Core Science and Service Consultants. Libby brings experience working on a variety of education and public health topics, including mental health promotion and school-based health prevention. Prior to joining the CAPT, Libby worked as a health and wellness counselor at an alternative high school in the Rocky Mountains and in the Boston Public Schools. She has also worked with children and families in a variety of settings including hospitals, pediatric clinics, and therapeutic treatment centers.
She earned her bachelor’s of social work from the University of Vermont and her master's in education in prevention, science, and practice from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
