Epidemiology Technical Assistance Provider
As the epidemiology technical assistance provider for the Southwest Resource Team, Beverly provides specialized technical assistance to the states and tribes in the Southwest Service Area on identifying data sources to support specific data indicators and prevention strategies, data analysis, and communicating data findings to stakeholder groups. Additionally, she reviews and provides TA to State epidemiological workgroups on the development of their epidemiological profiles and provides recommendations on epidemiological workgroup membership, indicator selection, data analysis, prioritization of data indicators, and using epidemiological profiles to produce measurable change in community outcomes. She also serves as a member of the CAPT’s Behavioral Health Indicators Workgroup.
Beverly has an extensive background in supporting states and communities in the areas of continuous quality improvement studies, process and impact evaluation, grant writing and project management, needs assessment, instrument development, data analysis (SPSS and QDA Miner), and research methodology development. Her past projects include serving as a RAND Research Associate on the Getting to Outcomes project. She serves as a She holds a B.S. from Texas A.M. University and a Masters and Doctoral degree from Texas Woman's University.
