Pathways to Effective Programs and Positive
Outcomes
“Needs Assessment data? Program Selection? What if the programs out there are not quite right for my community? Evaluation? SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework? Okay, so what do I do now?” Pathways to Effective Programs and Positive Outcomes is a planning model that helps to prepare prevention professionals to effectively use SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework. There are five major topic areas addressed in the training program: 1) Assessment (Needs/Resources); 2) Capacity Building; 3) Planning; 4) Implementation; and 5) Evaluation.

| This is a highly interactive program that combines lectures and presentations with intensive discussion, interactive activities and/or group work. |
