Our Mission
CSAP's Southeast CAPT is committed to providing the leadership in the
substance abuse field that will ensure a significant increase of evidence-based
technologies will be adopted, adapted, and implemented both nationally
and throughout our region. From the scientific foundations of our parent
organization, Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation, our Staff
and SECAPT Associates will focus on:
- Assisting agencies in creating the infrastructure and capacity required
for prevention efforts to significantly reduce substance abuse
- Elevating cultural competence into a celebration for the rich cultures
we enjoy in our region
- Increasing and supporting collaborations among key stakeholders at
all levels of prevention
- Introducing effective technological innovations in prevention.
- Offering skills development and information through a multitude of
formats and media
