CSAP’s Northeast CAPT provides professional development opportunities to state prevention practitioners in our 11-state region as they strengthen their youth prevention systems and select and implement the best practices. Through the state system, we also work with local agencies in these States. Our technical assistance and training programs, designed to work in tandem, focus on skill development and the application of new knowledge and skills.
What do we offer?
CSAP Northeast CAPT currently delivers trainings and technical assistance

How do we do it?
Over the past several years, the Northeast CAPT has expanded its capacity
to disseminate information using a variety of technologies. We currently
provide the following types of services:
• Face-to-face trainings
• Online courses
• Webcast/Satellite broadcasts
• Audioconferences
• Technical assistance (TA)
All training and TA is delivered and/or moderated by expert trainers who are either Northeast CAPT staff members or associates from the prevention field.
Do we provide credit?
The Northeast CAPT is in the process of applying to states throughout
the northeast for prevention credentialing credits.
