Face-to-Face Trainings

CSAP's Northeast CAPT provides face-to-face trainings to state prevention practitioners in our 11-State region as they strengthen their youth prevention systems and select and implement the best practices. Through the state system, we also work with local agencies in these States. Our technical assistance and training programs, designed to work in tandem, focus on skill development and the application of new knowledge skills.

The Northeast CAPT offers professional development opportunities by expert consultants to enhance both knowledge and skills in the following areas:

• Evidence-based prevention
• Planning and evaluation
• Technology
• Community organizing and coalition-building
• Customizing prevention programs for cultural appropriateness
