Pamela
S. Imm

Pamela S. Imm, Ph.D., received
her doctorate degree in clinical and community psychology from the University
of South Carolina in 1996. She has extensive experience in the areas of
program development, program evaluation, and applied research. She has
presented at national conferences and has served as an evaluation consultant
for the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, the Department of Education,
and the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America. Dr. Imm is a co-author
of the empowerment evaluation manual: Getting to Outcomes: Methods and
Tools for Planning, Self-Assessment, and Accountability funded as a joint
project between the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention and the National
Center for the Advancement of Prevention. This manual was the winner of
the Best Self-Help Manual from the American Evaluation Association in 2001.
She has published in the areas of alcohol and
drug abuse prevention, evaluation research, and models of effective programming.
She most enjoys working with local community-based coalitions to help
them integrate evaluation and research-based concepts into their work.
Additional areas of interest and research include child abuse prevention,
youth development, and work with community foundations.
