Melissa Boeke, Prevention Specialist
Serves as the epidemiologist for both Minnesota's and Red Lake's State Epidemiological Outcomes Workgroups. She is also the primary state contact for Red Lake.
Monica Brabant, Administrative Support
Coordinates logistics for trainings, conferences and other events. Prepares reimbursements for CAPT and its clients. Coordinates all CAPT travel.
Jessie Parker Carlson, Prevention Specialist
Provides assessment and evaluation technical assistance to Central CAPT staff and clients. Responsible for technical assistance and training services including technical assistance coordination for the Minority HIV/AIDS grantees.
Sue Engstran, Administrative Support
Assists the Project Director in day to day operations as well as other staff and project activities in various capacities.
Mike Coyne, Associate Grant Consultant
Provides assessment and evaluation technical assistance to Central CAPT staff and clients. Responsible for technical assistance and training services including technical assistance coordination for the Minority HIV/AIDS grantees.
Tom Griffin, Interim Associate Director
Directs evaluation efforts for all Central CAPT activities. Coordinates evaluation efforts with other CAPTs and CSAP. Provides evaluation technical assistance to Central CAPT clients.
Neal Holtan, Consulting Physician
Highlights medical issues in prevention. Promotes partnerships among health professionals for prevention efforts. Advises on public health policy and epidemiology.
Jerry Jaker, Senior Advisor
Provides advice and assistance to Central CAPT director and staff on issues of budget, staffing and planning. Manages designated sub-projects and initiatives within CAPT.
Tracy Johnson, Project Director
Manages and oversees the operations of the Central CAPT. Responsible for staff assignments, finances, work with Central CAPT Technical Expert Panel and contact with CSAP.
Tou T. Lee, Prevention Specialist
Responsible for providing technical assistance and training. Coordinates same for designated CAPT sub-projects including the US Department of Education's Reduce Alcohol Abuse grantees.
Sherri Lincoln, Administrative Support
Coordinates conference and other meeting logistics and general correspondence with CAPT constituents. Provides administrative support and logistics for the CSAP Central CAPT Technical Expert Panel. Responsible for initial training and technical assistance requests. Works with staff and associates to respond to requests.
Cherie Magdziarz, Administrative Support
Handles requests for CAPT materials. Refers outside requests for materials to appropriate regions and State RADAR Centers. Processes invoices. Gathers and ships materials to training locations. Provides data entry, word processing and mailing services.
Information Services Specialist
Responsible for reference and research services. Writes/edits new print and electronic materials and publications.
Carlos Morales, Senior Systems Analyst
Works with all phases of information technology including systems set-up, troubleshooting and Web design and development. Provides training on issues related to prevention and technology.
Sheila Nesbitt, Prevention Specialist
Provides technical assistance to clients in selecting and implementing evidence-based interventions, including coordinating the Learning Community initiative. Has particular expertise in underage drinking prevention, environmental programs and community organizing.
